The Three Hottest Celebrity Diet Plans

Fabletics

In the fickle world of celebrity, there is no single diet plan to make us fit and strong. Celebs like to mix it up and experiment with various fads and dieting trends. Even though we must always take celebrity lifestyle advice with a grain of salt, there’s a ton of weight-loss inspo on those white bean and kale-infested Instagram pages. Below are the latest and buzziest celebrity diet plans. And all I can say is if it works for Beyonce and Jay-Z, it could work for you too.

Beyonce and Jay-Z: The Greenprint Diet

The Greenprint diet isn’t just another celebrity nutrition fad. It’s a social media movement that champions plant-based living. Sporting the hashtag #greenprintproject, it is a collab between Queen B, Jay-Z and vegan exercise physiologist Marco Borges. Borges is the author of the best-selling book “The 22 Day Revolution Cookbook”, in which the hip hop couple wrote the intro. They are so determined to make us binge on avocados and noodle salads that they offer concert tickets for life to those who pledge to try a plant-based diet.

“We used to think of health as a diet—some worked for us, some didn’t. Once we looked at health as the truth, instead of a diet, it became a mission for us to share that truth and lifestyle with as many people as possible.” Beyonce and Jay- Z told People about the food revolution they have started.

What is the Greenprint exactly? Initially, it was the diet followed by Bey to get back in shape after giving birth to twins. It is not necessarily a fully vegan diet. It could be just swapping a few plant-based meals per week, like Bay, who is a fan of plant-based breakfast and “meatless Mondays”. According to Borges, the Greenprint just wants people to incorporate more plant-based meals into their lives, and notice the positive impact on their health and energy levels. Being an accomplished vegan nutrition coach, he believes veganism is the only way forward for sustainability and health care.

So is Beyonce a full-fledged vegan or not? As per her Instagram account, the pop idol is on a 22-day vegan meal plan to prepare her for her Coachella performance, where her high-powered show will require the stamina of an Olympic athlete. (Which means that right after the show finishes, she might sink her teeth into a juicy cheeseburger.)

Among the slew of celebs that swear by veganism are Madonna, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth, Venus Williams, Ariana Grande, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Jennifer Lopez. It is also rumored that Meghan Markle opts for several meatless days during the week, and insists that Prince Harry does the same.

The awesome benefits of a plant-based diet include natural weight-loss, a better mood, lower blood pressure, as well as increased energy and longevity.

Halle Berry: Keto

Is there a woman in this world that doesn’t secretly wish she had Halle Berry’s gym-honed hour-glass figure? The Academy-Award actress is one of the celebrity pioneers that uses the famous Ketogenic diet to stay healthy. Combined with high-intensity cardio, keto helped the John Wick 3 star keep diabetes in check, and look insanely fit at age 52.

Keto aims to keep the carbs and sugars low (nay to potatoes and most fruits) while allowing an abundance of healthy fats like meats, nuts, avocados, and butter. This way the body enters a state of “ketosis” where it essentially burns fat instead of glucose (carbs) for fuel. The Keto is great for unrepentant meat eaters like Berry, but also Kim and Kourtney Kardashian, LeBron James, Vinny Guadagnino, and Adriana Lima.

Disagreements about the health benefits of the diet are ongoing and recently sparked a Twitterstorm amongst famous people. Celebrity trainer Jillian Michaels dubbed the Keto cult “a bad idea” for “a million reasons”, igniting a whirlwind of angry responses from Al Roker and Andy Kohen,  as well as numerous keto fans.

All we can say that it may not work for all, but when it works, the results are stupendous.

So…here we go! The routine with our baby is getting more familiar and I’m ready to start taking a little time in the day focusing on myself. For me that means my health. Why? Because I wanna be around a long time for these three kiddos of mine. I know that some are curious about what that means and for all you moms (wether working or not working moms) it is the most challenging thing in the world to balance kids and personal time. Let’s be honest, kids take the number one position and it’s haaaaard to make the time for yourself. I’ve been doing a lot of research and I’ve spent my life time trying all kinds of new things that are focused on health and wellness. If you want to follow a more in-depth of my to-dos, @prettyhappy will be posting all kinds of fun tidbits from exercises we are loving to foods/recipes we ❤️ and meditation practices I just can’t live without 🧘‍♀️ MY GOAL: I will be shooting a film in the spring and I’m looking to shed 25lbs. I’d like to try new workouts and eat as healthy as I can. I wanna do all this and keep up milk production, raise my kids, work everyday, make time for my man, have girlfriend time and stay sane! 🤪 I know that this sounds more like a new year resolution but after Thanksgiving and everyone thanking their health, I feel motivated to keep that up. Kate Hudson: WW

Hollywood’s hot bod, Kate Hudson, is now a mom of three with a normal figure just like the rest of us. There’s nothing wrong with that of course. But after giving birth to her daughter last October, the actress was determined to bounce back to celebrity-fitness levels with WW (formerly known as Weight Watchers) and has since vowed to lose 25 pounds.

Kate has taken wellness so seriously that she recently became an ambassador for the brand. Her WW diet focuses on wellness and longevity rather than weight-loss, or as Hudson puts it “a holistic approach to wellness.”

WW’s approach to weight-loss allows you to enjoy your favorite foods in satisfying portions while it encourages a balanced diet of lean protein, veggies, fruits, and fewer sugars and unhealthy fat. It is a very sensible nutrition plan, that most of us aim to implement in our households. The benefit of doing it with WW’s help is that they do most of the thinking for you through the Smartpoints reward system that encourages you to eat healthy foods.

As Kate says: “I love cocktails, French fries, and ice cream. Now, it’s all about balance: Figuring out how to create the fun and still live a healthy lifestyle.”

Well said Kate, we can always count on a balanced diet!
